The concept is very simple - close the trade if it is not working. The big question is, how do you know if the trade is going to fail? Bounce Action & MATHS are able to identify failing trades. Amazing!

To apply Trade TRiMing correctly, Trading Conditions need to be assessed during the trade. Price Action and other Trading Systems have no built-in mechanism to determine Trading Conditions. Hence TRiMing is only currently possible with the MATHS Trading System.
When trading conditions are no longer in favour of the trade, just TriM the trade - close the trade regardless of the Stop Loss position or any other Risk Management parameters.

Meet Moyn
The inventor of Bounce Action and the MATHS Trading System, Moyn spent 13 solid years re-defining Trading not in theory, but in real markets with real money . He created Bounce Action as the natural evolution of Price Action, and built the MATHS Trading System to give retail traders a professional-grade framework they can actually use day to day.
It was hard, it was challenging, it was watching candlesticks drying on the 1-minute chart hour after hour, days turning into months, years turning into a decade. But it was all worth it!
The result was nothing less than miraculous. A completely new way of Trading the markets, not a copy or a variation of existing methods, but a completely new way. Something different, something new. Something simple and amazing.
The best way to describe this would be through an example. Elon Musk invented the EV - Electric Vehicle. He did not re-invent the whole car, just he heart of the car, the engine. but it was evolutionary enough to get its own category. Similarly we have Price Action and now Bounce Action.
Price Action is the old engine and Bounce Action is the new engine. Moyn did not re-invent the markets or the charts, but re-defined the principles upon which the "engines run", the decision-making process.
The core trading principle was changed. The change was simple - use system calculated Dynamic Structure to find trades instead of analysing candlesticks on static structure. The key concept was to use Dynamic Structures instead of static structures, such a s horizontal support & resistance, trendlines and channels.
The ingenious part was to figure out how to analyse the markets without candlesticks. The answer came in the form of a simple bounce! And so, Bounce Action was born.
The rest of the decade went in understanding and perfecting Bouncing and creating a completely new Trading System called MATHS, around which Bounce Action principles can be implemented or "actioned".
